Idi Vivar | Level 2 Stylist
Idi’s journey from Miami to Greenville brought her to Paul Mitchell, where she excelled in cosmetology before completing an additional year of our advanced training with our stylist team and Kate. Idi brings a meticulous eye for detail to every styling session. She’s not just about crafting the perfect cut, color, or blowout; Idi believes in building relationships through every session, listening closely to bring each client’s vision to life.
Her dedication extends beyond the salon. Passionate about continuous learning, Idi constantly updates her skills with the latest hair trends. Balancing her professional growth, she’s a devoted mother, advocating tirelessly for her daughter's special needs.

Kaylee is a passionate stylist that enjoys all things hair. She loves to create dimension for clients that complements their haircut.

Riley Bailey | Level 2 Stylist
Riley Bailey, originally from Greenville, is known for her expertise in foils and lived-in highlights. After advancing her craft in Charleston, she returned, focusing on achieving natural, beautiful results. Riley is all about providing a calm atmosphere for clients to enjoy their hair transformation.
An outdoor enthusiast, Riley finds joy in country music, a cold PBR, and engaging with reality TV and ghost adventures, and the occasional snowboarding trip. Her love for the outdoors and her doodle dog highlight the genuine care and vibrant energy she brings to her work.

Neeley Israel | Level 5 Stylist
Neeley returned to Greenville with her husband to start their family, after living in Summerville, SC. With a decade in the industry, Neeley excels in color treatments and crafting pixie cuts. She's a fan of natural, lived-in hair colors but always welcomes a refreshing change.
Beyond the salon, Neeley's life is full of furry and feathered companions. She shares her home with her husband and daughter, a dog, 2 cats, and a flock of chickens she raises in her backyard. Bob the chicken is definitely the family favorite. With a developing green thumb, Neeley's love for nature extends to a huge collection of plants.
Neeley's artistic inclinations aren't limited to her work as a stylist. She enjoys painting in her free time, a hobby that surely complements her finesse in creating striking balayages.

BreAnna has been an integral part of our team since the beginning. Recognizing her talent and dedication, she helps lead our team as Lead Stylist. She now not only transforms clients' looks but also shapes the future of our salon through education development with Kate and new stylist recruiting.
BreAnna’s creativity flourishes in her work as she helps clients express their individuality through their hair. This passion for personal style and beauty first drew her to hairdressing, and continues to inspire her each day.
Away from the salon, BreAnna loves catching live music, taking mini road trips, and unearthing unique treasures in antique shops.

Kate Kandel | Stylist & Owner
Kate Kandel is a hair stylist and owner of Kate Kandel Salon in downtown Greenville, South Carolina.
From an early age, Kate discovered her passion for hairstyling. She pursued her cosmetology training during high school. While simultaneously working as a full time stylist, she completed her bachelor's degree in business from Ohio University with the ultimate goal of opening her own salon.
With a background as a traveling KEVIN.MURPHY COLOR.ME educator, Kate has a deep-rooted passion for education. She loves training aspiring stylists as they embark on their careers and assisting established stylists advance their skills and expertise.
Specializing in balayage, low-maintenance lived-in color, and precision haircuts, Kate's mastery in these areas allows her to create stunning hair for her clients. Her attention to detail and artistic sensibility are seen in all of her client’s hair.
Outside of the salon Kate enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs, Mako and Kumba. In her free time, Kate enjoys painting, something that hones her hand painting balayage skills behind the chair.

Michael Kandel | Co-Owner
After relocating from Los Angeles, he joined forces with his sister Kate to establish the salon. Michael's extensive background in design has taken him around the globe, working in the fashion, luxury, and sporting goods industries. However, with both his siblings residing in Greenville and the anticipation of a nephew's arrival, he felt the need to be closer to family for the first time since college graduation.
Michael's passion for design remains unwavering, and he channels it into various pursuits. He finds joy in interior design and relishes spending time with his beloved dog, Lucy, a well-traveled American Dingo rescued from Puerto Rico.
As a co-owner, Michael plays a pivotal role in managing the salon's marketing, design needs, finances, and business development. His keen eye for aesthetics and business acumen contribute to the salon's overall success, ensuring that every aspect of the business is carefully crafted and curated.
