Level 5 Stylist

Neeley Israel

Neeley has been with our salon for years with well over a decade of experience in the industry, she’s known for her pixies, layers, and bobs. Neeley has a special love for natural, lived-in color but also enjoys helping clients make bold changes when they’re ready for something new.

Outside the salon, Neeley’s life is full of furry and feathered companions. She lives with her husband, two daughters, a dog, cats, and a flock of backyard chickens. Bob the chicken is the family favorite. Her love for nature shows in her ever-growing plant collection and her developing green thumb.

Neeley’s creativity also shines through her love for painting, a hobby that complements her artistic touch when creating custom color and balayage looks.

I have always been obsessed with hair. Even before I became a stylist, I spent so much time in salons thinking about my next haircut or color. I would lay in bed at night imagining different looks, something new, something I had not seen before.

I was always experimenting and playing with my friends’ hair. Eventually, I realized this was not just a hobby, it was something I wanted to do every day. Nothing else felt as exciting to me as hairstyling. It was the one thing that truly felt right.

Education has always been important to me, so I knew I wanted to work in a high end salon that valued learning and growth. What really drew me in was the attention to detail. Things like having phone chargers at every station and serving great coffee may seem small, but they make a big difference in the client experience. I wanted to be part of a salon that truly cared about that.

I also wanted to work in an environmentally conscious space, which was another reason Kate Kandel Salon felt like the perfect fit.

We moved here when I was pregnant with our first daughter, Coplin. I wanted to be closer to family, and Greenville felt like the right place. It has a great community, so much to do, and it is a wonderful place to raise kids.

Charleston was becoming overcrowded, and Greenville had the right balance of fun, opportunity, and family friendly energy. We are really happy we made the move.
